About Team Nemesis
Team Nemesis brings reality based training to the arena of modern combat sports: we teach Amateur Boxing, Freestyle Wrestling, Eskrima and specialise in Close Quarter Combat, a very practical system that deals with a short duration, high intensity conflict, often characterised by a sudden burst of hostility at a very close range.
We are responsible for teaching Self Protection and The Law to the Security at the University of Bath, as well as run regular Awareness & Self Protection seminars for general public. Our classes cover threat assessment, conflict resolution, overview of the law, control & restraint, and of course, fighting in all ranges.
The team works closely with Trojan Free Fighters, one of Britain’s top professional Mixed Martial Arts teams. Supported by their vast experience in Amateur Boxing, Muay Thai, Submission Grappling and Freestyle Wrestling, we provide unprecedented quality of training for a new generation of fighters in Bath and surrounding area.
Newcomers are always welcome! Feel free to contact us for any additional information.

Frequently Asked Questions
I haven’t done anything like this before; is this for me?

I train elsewhere; why learn with Team Nemesis?
We, strongly believe that cross-training is good: it expands your current abilities and allows you to gain a competitive edge. As such, the more you know, the better you become. At Team Nemesis, we offer you a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the country. It seems like a shame to pass up such a chance!
I haven’t trained for a while; do I have to be fit to join?
It doesn’t matter what level of fitness you are at when you start. All of our classes, include strength and conditioning training aimed at developing and improving your overall level of fitness. As you progress with your training, you’ll find that your fitness improves naturally; you’ll notice that you can do more and train for longer.
I am of a very large/slight build; does size matter?
Yes, size does matter, but only to a degree. Our classes are all about balance and technique rather then brute strength and power. We concentrate on understanding why and how the techniques work. As a result, you will never be short of a training partner or something to practice with them!
